The Mercenary Sword from Epic Armory is part of the Vanguard line and is inspired by the longswords of medieval Europe, with a hilt designed for one- or two-handed use. The crossguard is smaller than most European swords, to allow greater freedom of movement when using the blade. The hilt is made from polyurethane and features a high degree of detail, as it is sculpted to resemble wood reinforced with gold rivets and bands, while the hilt and pommel are steel with gold detailing. The hilt guarantees an excellent grip for the person holding it. The blade is made of closed cell polyurethane foam and colored to look as realistic as possible.
